Katie Cocchi

Katie received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona. After a brief stint in a pharmaceutical company in Oklahoma, she returned to the UA Department of Surgery as a Research technician, working on transplant methodologies for treatment of Type I diabetes. More recently, she was a research specialist in the UA Department of Pediatrics, where she studied neonatal disorders. Her outside interests include reading, playing board games, and being involved in the local comedy scene.
